RBL, or real blackhole lists, are real-time services for those nasty spams which consistently flood your e-mail storage with unwanted e-mails. These spams can potentially be very dangerous, for most of these unopened e-mails contain either
destructive viruses or malware. But, most people sometimes get errors from their real-time blackhole listing providers when sending outgoing e-mails, and with this, I have both an explanation and a solution to the most common RBL error messages.
Such
error messages seem to come from your e-mail server, but they actually don't. They are errors different e-mail servers return to your e-mail server while trying to send your outgoing mail. Your e-mail server is just passing to you these error messages, and the e-mail server wherein the error message originated is located somewhere in the middle of the error message, so it would do you good to determine which RBLs your IP is listed in order for you to make the necessary adjustments.
Finally, if you find your IP unlisted on any known real-time blacklist, it is highly probable to assume you are listed on a private list, specifically on a remote domain. All you need to do is read the error message, locate the entry where the remote domain is, and send a message to the postmaster asking to be taken out of the list. Now you know, always remember that with great power comes great responsibility, and with the advent of faster and
faster communication technologies, we are all placed in a position to know everything there is to know that would protect our privacy and security, so please do tell your friends about this solution.
