Since there is no easy way to deal with spam, several bright minds have developed and are still developing ways to fight spam. One of the ways that have been devised is the use of Wpoison. When I first heard about it, I thought that I should give it a try. If it lives up to its name, then I can say goodbye to my spam problems.

CGI program and one of the oldest solution in the fight against spam. It is a
free downloadable tool found in the Internet that promises to help lessen the problems of junk e-mails. This tool works by eliminating the problem before it ever begins. Instead of "curing" your spam dilemma, Wpoison prevents you from ever having one; prevention is better than cure after all right?
The mechanics of Wpoison is simple. Spammers formulate programs which scans every available
web page automatically. These programs look for e-mail addresses where they can send their unwanted junk mails, or they can sell it to other spammers. Most of these poorly-made programs can easily be countered by being fooled into accepting fake e-mails addresses. So all the while, the harvesters of e-mail will receive fake and bogus addresses that will poison the database of the spammer.
