
Consider yourself blessed if you don't ever receive
receive spam in your inbox each day. I must confess (and this is true story) that even my office mailbox wasn't able to escape the deadly tentacles of a spam monster via a friendly coworker. Unless you tread on commercial websites and distribute your email address,
spam won't infiltrate your inbox. However, unless your inbox is created solely for a special purpose better prepare yourself from the gross spillage of unwanted messages.
So here's a radical challenge response. Would I even call unregistering from newsgroups a valid way to counter spam? No, since it only validates that you are the owner of your publicized email. Perhaps one of the best ways is to trace the source of spam, send a complaint to your
client server and add it up to the blacklist.
